Photoshoot F.A.Q.

Booking a photographer shouldn’t be hard. I have compiled a list of questions that I get asked a lot. If you don’t find your answer here, please feel free to contact me, I would love to help.

How do we schedule a session?

​I'm not photogenic at all, can you help me?

I love coaching my clients through having their photos taken, and I have a lot of tricks up my sleeve to make you look fabulous! When you’re having a great time, you’ll look more beautiful than you thought was possible. I promise it!​

How/how soon will I receive the photos?

Your photos will be delivered in high-resolution to you via an online gallery. Once the edited images are completed, you will be contacted via email with your gallery link. A preview (3 to 5 photos) will be sent within 48 hours of the session, and the rest of the session within 20 days*.

Upon receipt of the photos, the customer is expected to perform a backup of the files (save at least 2 different locations, cloud – Google Drive / Dropbox), etc.

*For weddings and 3h+ events, with a deadline of 60 days.​

What if it rains?

The weather forecast will be verified on the day before as well as on the morning of the session. In case of rain, the session will be postponed to another time or day, according to the client's and the photographer’s disposition. If it is impossible to hold the session, the scheduling fee will be refunded.​

Do you provide digital negatives (RAW files) after the shoot?

You will be provided with edited images in JPEG only. If you want RAW files, they will be sent with an extra charge of € 200.​

Do you only work in Amsterdam?

No! :) I am available throughout the Netherlands and Europe! Obviously, the costs of travel and accommodation will be added to the final session value.

Can you make me look thinner?

Hmmm, no. Editing will be restricted to lightning and colors, there won't be editing of human nature such as weight, height, eye color, hair shape, etc. ​

MATERNITY PHOTOSHOOTS

Will family members be included in the session as well?

Of course family is included! All immediate family is included in the session including siblings and pets ;)

When should I schedule my maternity session?

I recommend doing between 30 - 36 weeks. This ensures that you have a big enough belly to “show”, but that you’re not uncomfortably big in your photos. I recommend reaching out early in your second trimester to reserve your due date.

What's the Newborn Lifestyle Photography?

It's a relaxed, documentary-style vibe.  Lifestyle sessions are also all about showing our subjects in their own environment – snuggling on the bed, in the baby’s nursery, and just around different areas of their home. It's like telling a story of mom and dad and their new baby, in their home environment.

What's the best time for Newborn lifestyle?

From 10 days of baby’s life. This is when they’re at their squishiest and sleepiest.

KEUKENHOF AND TULIP FIELDS PHOTOGRAPHY


Is Keukenhof the same thing as tulip fields?

NO! The Keukenhof is a garden located in Lisse, approx 35km from Amsterdam. The park opens only in spring, between March and May. It has the infrastructure to receive thousands of visitors per day, with cafes and bathrooms. The flower fields can be found all over the country, in strictly rural areas.

Best time to shoot at the flower fields

The session should be done closer to sunrise and sunset. If it's a cloudy day, there's no preference.

How do we get into the fields?

The fields are located in areas without nearby public transportation, we can only reach the fields by car. Packages include round-trip car transfers to Amsterdam.

Can I choose the fields?

Since we depend on the flowers being open and harvesting quickly, the specific choice of flower colors/types is more difficult to predict in advance. If the field is not flowered, we will go in other (s).
